Melanie completed her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Melbourne in 2022. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and people of diverse backgrounds at Headspace and in private practice. Having worked and lived abroad, Melanie's life experience offers clients with a flexible, versatile, and culturally sensitive therapy style.

Melanie (she/her) believes clients are the experts of their own lives. Considering each individual’s unique strengths and challenges, she takes a warm and tailored approach to help clients make sense of their experiences and reach their goals. Her therapy is informed by evidence-based practice, integrating different modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-informed therapy, schema therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys reading about the latest psychology development, exercising outdoor, and spending time with her rescued cats.
